From the Motorway A85 / E60

Come off the Motorway at Saumur, junction 3, and at this roundabout take the D10 signposted to Allonnes and Bourgueil.  Follow this until you come to Allonnes.  Go right through the town, past the Carrefour Connect supermarket and the garage, and the signpost announcing the end of the town.  Then at the roundabout take the first exit (to the right). Follow this road to the end and at the cross-roads turn right.  Stay on this road over the motorway and take the second left after the flyover by the signpost for Russé.  This road is sign-posted for Le Chapy and Route du Chapy.   We are the second farm along this road opposite a poplar wood.  The driveway is just before the sign for the tight bends.

From the Bridge over the Loire at Montsoreau

If you are on the D957, coming either from Tours or Saumur or on the D947 from Saumur or Fontevraud you will have no problem.  There is a roundabout at the north end of the bridge. From the roundabout take the D85 northwards, signposted Varennes and Allonnes.  Go through Varennes, over two bridges - first the railway, then the river Authion - then take the first left, signposted Route du Chapy.  We are on the left, after about 1 Km.
